Kejun Li's career spans a wide range of disciplines. He began as a bridge engineer on the largest suspension bridge project in southern Africa and is now based in Milan, the capital of design, working as an architect and product designer.
From a 600-metre-span bridge to a tile the size of a palm, that diversity gives him unique insight into how design principles can be applied universally yet adapted specifically to the unique context of each project.
His creative philosophy goes beyond traditional aesthetics and functionality: he strives to create a system that forges connections - between people and objects, objects with one another, and objects within their environment.
This philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that design is not just the creation of tangible objects, but a way to facilitate conversations and interactions.
