Cross is a modular porcelain surface collection by Marta Martino that operates simultaneously as material, structure and visual language. Its dense relief micro-texture forms a cross-like geometry when assembled, creating an architectural surface with depth and direction.

With Cross, De Marchi Verona continues its research into architectural surfaces that can function at once as material, structure and visual language. Designed by Marta Martino, the collection starts from a modular ceramic element characterized by a dense micro-relief texture that, once assembled, forms a cross geometry visible at a larger scale.

Rather than applying a simple decorative motif, Cross introduces depth and direction into the surface, turning the wall into a three-dimensional field sensitive to light. The system consists of square modules available in two sizes, 10x10 cm and 20x20 cm, allowing multiple compositional configurations. The result is an architectural surface that changes visually depending on the viewpoint and lighting design.
